This used to be the story of Roger's battle with leukemia, his bone marrow transplant, recovery and subsequent relapse. It has now transitioned...into a blog about transitions.
Lookin' good, Roger! Love to read your blog, Candi and know how you both are doing! Think of you every day, so it's nice to come out here and find out what is happening. Too bad the whole procedure couldn't take place somewhere balmy and tropical, eh?
Roger, you look great! Good to see you without hospital gowns and an IV bag swinging above your head! Keep it up! You're getting there.
Though, not a bad idea, Tammy, to move transplant units to somewhere balmy and tropical . . . "It's Better in the Bahamas" . . . I think the only problem would be patient commitment to recovery would very low. They'd be ripping out IV lines so they could head to the bar for a drink with an umbrella. Where they would already find their caregiver, of course.
